The only personal information we collect will be your personal information you actively send to us via email or phone when you make contact with us. This information will be used to respond to your queries and should you become a client then it shall be used during the ongoing course of business. We will never share your data with any other organisations.

We Agree To:
  1. Not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
  2. Identify an advert or marketing message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
  3. Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters. This is currently Honeytrails Farm, Drummond, KZN, 3626, RSA.
  4. Monitor third-party email marketing services for compliance if one is used.
  5. Honour opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.

Harvard Ink strives to meet the needs of its readers and authors. However, it also reserves the right to refuse taking on a project on the grounds of originality and factual accuracy.

We Further Adhere To The Following Content Creation Rules:

No Hate Speech

  • We will not produce or aid in the production of content that reduces the dignity of a human being based on race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation.
  • The same goes for content that encourages harm on these grounds.
  • Likewise for content that diminishes or restricts fundamental human rights on these grounds.
  • Stories set in a specific historical context can have characters who ignore this rule where appropriate or authentic to the time period so long as the message of the book does not endorse such behaviour.

No Defamatory or Litigious/Libelous Writing

  • We will not promote any potentially litigious or libelous works, including mudslinging, anecdotes or hearsay pertaining to any real-life person, whether living or deceased.
  • We also cannot engage in writing content rooted in charged/ unclear/ conflictual/ complex legal issues if it involves critiquing a public or private figure or company.

No Writing That Promotes or Encourages Harm

  • This holds true whether it is self-harm or the harm of others that is encouraged.
  • We also will not take on content that promotes harassment, which is ultimately a form of harm.

No Writing That Promotes or Encourages or Enables Psychological Abuse

  • Harvard Ink can, at its discretion, agree to aid in publishing a book that explains how to recognize and defend against techniques described in other dark psychology books.
  • However, we will not aid in publishing material that teaches these techniques.

  • Harvard Ink can, at its discretion, decline promoting a book that we believe is discriminatory or derogatory based on any form of diversity.
